Hulu Plus Has Almost No More Content Than Hulu

One Touch Intelligence Staged Step By Step Comparison

Now here’s a surprise, folks–looking at this chart may suggest a big difference, but the firm One Touch Intelligence took a look at the episodes that Hulu offered and compared it against the offerings from Hulu Plus. As it turns out, your extra ten dollars a month doesn’t buy you that many episodes more.

A week’s study by One Touch Intelligence revealed that Hulu itself offered up 24,854 full-length television episodes. But Hulu Plus offered up just 14 percent more content–a whopping 28,418.

In some cases, the difference is clear. You can see that much on the chart–if you’re a My Name Is Earl fan, you’re definitely game to pay that extra fee. But for an extra 3,564 episodes, it may not be worth it to drop the ten bucks a month to most people.

If Hulu Plus wants to get people in the door, they’re going to have to get some more gap in between the free and the pay service.
