Yes, the power of external graphics in a notebook. As for the graphics card, that will be the ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v, which has a dedicated 1GB of video memory.
In terms of display size, expect 15.6 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768. And although the notebook comes standard with a DVD Super Multi optical drive, there is also an option to add in a Blu-ray optical drive, which when combined with the HDMI out and external graphics could make for a nice portable media center. Other goodies of the Lifebook AH530 GFX include a spill resistant keyboard with numeric keypad as well as exterior colors to include glossy black or ink blue.
The notebook is described as being “slim” and has actual measurements of 378 x 252 x 35.7 – 38.4 mm.
Lastly, the Lifebook AH530 GHX is expected to come available later this month for a yet to be announced price.
