Fujitsu LifeBook AH530 GFX Unveiled, Scheduled To Arrive Later This Month
Fujitsu has just unveiled their latest Lifebook branded notebook, the model is the Lifebook AH530 GFX and it comes touting “high graphics performance.” According to the details coming from Fujitsu “users will experience the power of external graphics for demanding graphics applications and video.”

“Fujitsu today introduces a new model of the LIFEBOOK AH530 featuring an external graphics card with dedicated 1GB video memory.”
Yes, the power of external graphics in a notebook. As for the graphics card, that will be the ATI Mobility Radeon HD550v, which has a dedicated 1GB of video memory.
In terms of display size, expect 15.6 inches with a resolution of 1366 x 768. The remaining specs of the Lifebook AH530 GFX include options for either an Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processor and up to 8GB of RAM as well as 500GB of storage, HD audio, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, digital microphone, Gigabit ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1, HDMI, memory card reader, 6 cell battery and Windows 7 Professional.
And although the notebook comes standard with a DVD Super Multi optical drive, there is also an option to add in a Blu-ray optical drive, which when combined with the HDMI out and external graphics could make for a nice portable media center. Other goodies of the Lifebook AH530 GFX include a spill resistant keyboard with numeric keypad as well as exterior colors to include glossy black or ink blue.
The notebook is described as being “slim” and has actual measurements of 378 x 252 x 35.7 – 38.4 mm.
Lastly, the Lifebook AH530 GHX is expected to come available later this month for a yet to be announced price. So far the only mention of price was just the general PR speak of being “competitive.” That said, it does not sound like we have all that long of a wait given it is expected before the end of the month.
