ExoPC Tablet To Begin Shipping September 3rd
It looks like we have some updated dates in terms of when the ExoPC tablet is going to begin shipping. And it should almost be assumed, however these shipping dates are for those who were brave enough to pre-order the tablet. That and, given past history they are also subject to change.

The details are coming by way of the official ExoPC user forums, which means we can likely assume these are accurate. Or at least as accurate as possible. The breakdown is as follows, the first batch will ship on September 3rd. And as to who can expect to be in that shipment, those were for the 1,200 ExoPC forum members who pre-ordered.
After that, September 20th will see the departure of 120 “production” units which are noted as being for partners, journalists and bloggers. After that, September 30th will be the next big day with regular (non-forum member) pre-orders going out.
Furthermore, September 30th is a big day because that is when orders will begin. Sadly though, the orders are described as being for developers only. But hey, the fact that they are going first should mean the device will be better once it gets in the hands of regular customers. More developers should hopefully mean more options for end users.
In addition, the Ciara Vibe, which is the rebadged partner slate will begin shopping to those in Canada on October 15th. Though, this date seems the least firm in the list being described as “probably around.” In other words, if I were in Canada and waiting for a Ciara Vibe I would not be holding my breath for the 15th of October at this point.
Lastly, for those who may not be as familiar with the ExoPC, this is a Windows 7 Home Premium based tablet that will have an 11.6 inch (1366 x 768) dual-touch pressure sensitive display with an “ExoPC UI Layer” on top. Other specs include a 1.66GHz Intel Atom Pineview-M N450 processor, 2GB RAM, 32 or 64GB SSD, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and a battery life of up to 5 hours.
