Acer Ferrari Ultraportable Laptop Upgrading to AMD Ontario Processor
Remember that Acer Ferrari One ultraportable laptop that came out in September of last year? Well that same laptop is back in the news again and this time it looks like it will undergo an overhaul of sorts when it upgrades to an AMD Ontario processor sometime late this year.
The Acer Ferrari One laptop originally came with a 1.2GHz AMD Athlon processor but with the usual fast advancement of technology as far as files are concerned, the overhaul is a must.
And carrying the Ferrari brand, you know this is one laptop that must live up to its name (with due reference to speed).
And the new processor pegged to handle this speed issue is the AMD Ontario processor.
This brand new chip is being wooed to power up the latest Acer Ferrari One ultraportable although AMD has not officially divulged when their Fusion line of processors are coming out.
Regardless, further details are quite vague at this point. This includes issues on whether the Ferrari One ultraportable will undergo a name change.
Expect more updates in the coming days about this one.
