Rogers has added yet another device to their currently available lineup. The latest is the Nokia 6700 Slide which comes with a seemingly fair price both on contract and off contract. First things first though, the 6700 Slide is available as of today.

Touching on the price a bit, and then onto the specs. The 6700 Slide is $79.99 on a three year agreement. Not bad, but you can also get the handset for $129.99 or $199.99 on a two year or one deal agreement respectively. As for that seemingly fair contract free pricing — $229.99.
And now for the specs. The Nokia 6700 Slide, as the name implies is a slider style phone. It comes as a portrait slider which slides up to reveal a standard numeric keypad. Otherwise, the remaining specs include 3G connectivity, a 2.2 inch WQVGA display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, FM radio, 40MB internal memory, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, 2.5mm headphone jack, 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with an 8x zoom, autofocus, LED flash and video recording as well as a front facing camera on the front for video calling.
The 6700 Slide is running S60 and has access to the Ovi branded services. In addition you will find social networking support in the form of Facebook, MySpace and Twitter as well as a multimedia player, urMusic, mobile internet and Rogers Instant Messaging support in the form of Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger.
As for size and weight, the handset measures in at 95.2 x 46.1 x 15.9 mm with a weight of 110 grams. Battery life is up to 4 hours of talk time, 12 hours of standby time and 29 hours for music playback.
