Sharp Announces the Release of Two New LED AQUOS DR TVs with Blu-Ray Recorder and DVR

Sharp has unveiled a pair of new LED TV sets that will make up their new Sharp LED AQUOS DR Series. These new TV sets will come with TV tuners (analog and digital), an internal 500 GB DVR and a Blu-ray recorder.

There will be two digital and one analog TV tuners which should allow potential owners to view one channel while recording two different channels simultaneously using either the included DVR or Blu-ray recorder.

These new Sharp TV sets will come in 40 (the one with DVR) and 32 inches (with Blu-ray recorder) with the 40 incher the only one capable of providing full HD support. The 32″ model will come with 1366×768 resolution.

The TV’s come with an easy to use video editing program, networking capabilities, 10W x 2 ch speakers, tons of AV connectivity options and an optional USB adapter which for Wi-Fi access.

These new TV sets are scheduled to come out in October with the 32″ model retailing for about $2,200 and the 40″ model priced at $2,750.
