A new type of product has been released by Pixavi with the Xcorder EX4000 digital camera. This is an intrinsically safe digital and rugged camera which can be used for industrial setups which require the aid of capturing HD images and videos for safety and security means.
The Pixavi Xcorder EX4000 boasts of a high-end CMOS sensor and can capture 8MP high quality stills while also being able to record HD 720p videos.
The captured media can then be stored via the built-in memory or wirelessly through a shared network.
The Xcorder EX4000 is also a great rugged camera/camcorder which has low light capability and the flash / video light makes it suitable for virtually any lighting conditions.
The rugged digital camera/camcorder has been certified according to both ATEX and IECEx for Zone 1, Gas group IIC.
The Pixavi Xcorder EX4000 is available through preorders and carries a price tag of $5,850.
The rugged camera/camcorder comes with a standard warranty and is set to start shipping by the fourth quarter.
