The HTC Legend from Bell is Officially Dead!
It looks like the AMOLED shortage has forced the hand of Bell to put the HTC Legend to an end. Bell has announced that they are no longer offering the HTC Legend to its customers although you may still find it up at their site.
The only thing is that while the specs and all are still up at Bell, you will not be able to purchase it. Aside from the shortage of AMOLED displays, it is believed that the said handset has been sorely faltering in the market.
As for their customers, Bell is encouraging their customers to check out their other line of Android-powered smartphones.
For the hard heads who are still looking for the HTC Legend, chances are you would be better off looking at Virgin Mobile.
Virgin Mobile is still offering the HTC Legend for $99 with a 3 year service agreement. This is a $20 increase from the original price of $79 that Virgin Mobile originally offered.
