White iPhone 4 Spotted on Video, Coming Soon to Stores?

So, yeah, we don’t know what to make of this video, but it looks like some lucky fellow over in Canada is rocking a white iPhone 4, the current unicorn of mobile devices.

Why a unicorn? White is no special color is it? We’ve seen plenty of white devices so far, the white iPhone 3G, the white iPhone 3GS, the white BlackBerry Bold 9700, the white HTC EVO 4G, the white Samsung Galaxy S or the almost-white Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Star Wars special edition handset.

But unlike its white predecessors (I’m talking about Apple’s white iPhones of course) the white iPhone 4 hasn’t been launched immediately after the black model and that’s definitely surprising/disturbing. With almost two months since the official launch and with more than 20 countries getting the smartphone, it’s peculiar not to see the white version sell in worldwide stores.

It looks like Apple is still going through some serious manufacturing issues when it comes to this particular device. Apple officials kept reassuring us that the white iPhone 4 is on track for an immediate release but they were actually contradicted by the facts.

What happened to their manufacturing line is still a mystery although the word on the street is that white panels are a lot harder to produce since Apple has certain requirements when it comes to the way paint is applied.

So, again, we have no idea how this dude got his white iPhone 4 in Canada, but it looks like he’s happy he waited for it. (Technically though, the white iPhone 4 is just like the black one, Death Grip included, so don’t expect any other differences other than the color.) Is the story genuine? Did he Colorware it? Well he seems to have the original, white iPhone 4 box and so it looks like everything is pretty genuine.

So what do you say Apple? Who sold this device in Canada? Are you going to fire them anytime soon? Or was it left in a bar somewhere? Maybe it fell off a truck?
