Samsung Vibrant Android Smartphone Drops To One Penny With Amazon

Shopping For A Samsung Vibrant? Pay $199.99 Direct With T-Mobile or $0.01 With Amazon

A day later and another $100 is savings, well, assuming you are in the market for a Samsung Vibrant smartphone. And once again the key here is by NOT shopping direct with the carrier. The latest offer for the Samsung Vibrant is coming by way of Amazon who have lowered slashed the price from $99.99 all that way down to $0.01. Basically free.

So here I go on the crusade of trying to make everyone remember that shopping direct with a mobile carrier will likely only end up meaning spending extra money. But I have said that here on TFTS before, multiple times in fact.

And while yesterday was a good example. After all T-Mobile cut their price in half. That sounded good, but in reality all they did was match the price of Amazon and Wirefly. When you think of it as in price match terms as opposed to cutting in half it suddenly does not sound like as good of a deal.

What Amazon did on the other hand, that was a true price cut, and in turn a true deal. Not only did they lower their price, but they also beat the price of T-Mobile (by $199.98), but they also beat the price of a competitor (Wirefly) by quite a bit. Just for record, at the time of this posting, Wirefly is still reflecting a $99.99 price.

In the end, nothing is ever certain in terms of smartphone pricing. Or any tech or gadget related pricing for that matter. And for anyone who reacted quick to the deal we mentioned yesterday, now is a good time to react once again and see if you can get something done about matching the price of Amazon. After all, a hundred bucks will be much nicer in your bank account.

Plus, Amazon is still offering the $5 Amazon MP3 credit as well as offering free two day shipping.
