Philips Fluid Smartphone Bends As You Wish, Flexible OLED Touchscreen Display Likes the Movement
We are always showing you hot products here folks, and plenty of smartphones, and today is no different. Only this time around we’re focusing our smartphone needs on a concept device, so this particular creation won’t be available in stores for a while now. The Philips Fluid smartphone in the image below has what it takes to be a magical device, but is it truly so?

Or better said, could a bendable smartphone attract us more than the iPhone [Insert Number] or the Motorola Droid [Number]? This baby is just a concept, but a very interesting one. The phone has a rather long shape, and it’s pretty thin too. But what’s really surprising is that the phone bends all the way so you can wear it as a bracelet.
Everyone is insisting on the flexible OLED display there, but we must not forget that the insides are also pretty flexible. As you can see in the picture above, the Fluid concept is designed to be a formidable smartphone. Besides actual calling capabilities, it also comes with an app store version, gaming capabilities (notice the dedicated gaming controls) and probably everything else you’d be expecting from a smartphone of the future.
What I don’t particularly like though is the touchscreen size. And yes, it’s all about size when it comes to smartphones especially if you want to have a great video and gaming experience too. Not to mention enjoying the full web, or at least part of it when navigating on the go.
The Philips Fluid hasn’t been designed by Philips but maybe they should check it out. The phone has been imagined by Dinard da Mata, so let’s see who has the fluid parts needed to make such a device. So what do you say, folks? Anyone intrigued about the phone? Could it ever become a magical device?
