Dell Streak & Accessories Now Available, Priced From $299.99 [Dell Streak Android Tablet Features 5" Display, Android 1.6 & Is Now Available For Purchase In The US]
As we expected, the Dell Streak is now available for purchase here in the US. Those interested can surf on over to the Dell website and virtually plunk down their hard earned cash. Or in reality, enter those credit card digits and then sit back and wait for the delivery truck to arrive. The purchase price for the Streak is either $299.99 or $549.99.

And as you most likely already know, the $299.99 price point comes with a two year agreement attached. Personally, I am considering picking one of these up as a Wi-Fi only tablet, in which case I would opt for the $549.99 contract free option. But remember, as we learned the other day, regardless of which option you go with — the Streak is still SIM-locked to AT&T.
As far as actually making the purchase, things seems status quo. The Dell website is currently listing the shipping date as August 14th, which is a good sign that you should not have all that long of a wait for delivery. Otherwise, the Dell Streak is noted as shipping with a 16GB microSD card included in the box, which is a plus considering the Streak only has 512MB internally. Though there is a 2GB “non-user accessible” section for “system and applications files.”
Otherwise the specs are as expected and include the 5 inch (800 x 480) display, 5 megapixel camera, VGA camera, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 1530 mAh battery, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and accelerometer.
And just like any other purchase with Dell, you have the option to customize your purchase. Which in this case is really nothing more than adding accessories. That said, you have options for a variety of Bluetooth headsets, extra microSD cards and premium headphones as well as a few that are more Dell Streak specific such as a car dock kit, home dock, cases and power supplies.
