Gateway LT22 Netbook & LT32 Notebook Now Available In Canada [Gateway LT22 & LT32 Notebooks Announced, Will Feature AMD Athlon II Neo CPU's & ATI Graphics With HDMI Out]

Gateway has recently rolled out two new additions for those in Canada. The new models include the LT22, which is a netbook and the LT32 which is a mini-notebook. Both are available as of today and are priced from $349.99 and $449.99 respectively.

Despite being two different sized models, both are offering similar features across the board and are touting AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processors, DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI, HD webcams, memory card readers and a 6 cell battery that is said to be able to offer up to 5.5 hours of run time on the LT32 and 6.5 hours on the LT22. Additionally, both models include a multi-gesture touchpad.

Breaking these each down a bit, lets first start with the LT22, which is the netbook. This model features a 10.1 inch display with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, Windows 7 Starter Edition and a 250GB hard drive. The LT32 has a slightly larger display coming in at 11.6 inches with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, Windows 7 Home Premium and a 320GB hard drive. That said, despite the difference in display size both models have a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Otherwise, the LT22 and the LT32 are both less than one inch thick and in terms of weight — the LT22 is 2.76 pounds with the LT32 a little heavier at 2.98 pounds. As for exterior styling, the LT22 is available in either matte silver or brown with a “subltle honeycomb chassis.” The LT32 is sporting a matte blue cover with black chassis.

And similar to some of the other Gateway branded notebooks, both of these models feature the dedicated social networking integration which gives quick access to sites like Facebook,YouTube and Flickr.
