Acer Teases a New Dual Boot Netbook with the Acer Aspire AOD255

Acer announces a new and interesting notebook to consider with the Acer Aspire One AOD255. This new netbook offering boasts of dual boot capability meaning it can run on Windows XP and Android operating systems.

The Microsoft Windows XP OS is the main operating system but will also have the ability to quick book using the Android OS.

As for the features of this Acer netbook, it boasts of a 10.1″ display, powered by an Intel Atom N450 processor, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB HDD and a 3-cell battery.

If the battery seems short on juice for you, you can always get the 6-cell battery version from Acer for an additional $95.

The Acer Aspire One AOD255 netbook costs about $375 but there is no official word on its official release date.

The pricing seems to be somewhat off and picky users can surely find other netbooks with better specs at that price.

Regardless, it would be best to wait and see since not all the details have been bared for now.
