Motorola Sage Spends Some Time In Front Of The Camera
Coming rather quickly after the recent blurrycam image, but the Motorola Sage has once again found itself in front of the camera. And thankfully this latest round of images are much more clear.

Sadly though we are still not looking at anything complete or official in terms of specs and a release date with pricing. That said, things are looking up and despite not having hands on with the Sage as of yet, I will go as far as saying that the keyboard does look nice. Of course, the final comment on that will have to be reserved for a later time.
As for what we can say now — the Motorola Sage is heading to AT&T. And that comes as confirmed by way of the AT&T logo splash screen. In addition there was also further confirmation that the Sage is running Android 2.1 with the Motoblur skin on top. And while it would have been nice to see Froyo, we cannot really complain about 2.1. In terms of Motoblur, that is reportedly the newer version which is currently found on the Droid X. And while it would have been nice to see a vanilla Android installation, the skin on the Droid X is much improved over previous versions of Motoblur. Of course, that is just a matter of personal opinion.
Otherwise, as you can clearly see from the image, the Sage has a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard along with what appears to be a rather large optical trackpad sitting below the display. Additional features that we can see from the image include a volume up/down rocker, camera with flash, power button, USB for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Finally, in terms of a release. Nothing solid here, however the tipster that leaked these images made mention of having had the test phone for a good month. In other words, a release (or at least an announcement) should be coming sooner as opposed to later. And while I am more excited by what Motorola is offering Verizon these days, I have to say, the Sage appears like it will be one of the nicer Android smartphones with AT&T.
