Dell has really been making a comeback in just about every market they have found there way into. Not only have they completely revamped virtually their entire computer line up’s designs (destroying some of the gripes consumers have with Dell) making for much more aesthetically pleasing products but they have begun breaking into the mobile handset industry. If you’ll remember, some time ago we let you know of a leaked Windows Phone 7 line up of Dell handsets that looked to be just as good as some of the hottest devices on the market today.

Luckily, Dell has not neglected their line up of high end computers, still pumping out beefed up laptops and desktops, but they have their Alienware line of computers that, as everyone knows, likes making products that more or less blow away the competition.

Today, we will not be telling you about an Alienware, but rather a Dell Studio XPS computer. This particular model is dubbed the Studio XPS 9100 and is available for order now. This computer features an Intel Core i7-980x processor clocked at 3.33Ghz, up to 24GB of DDR3 RAM, a Radeon HD 5970 graphics card with 2GB of RAM. Of course, this configuration is going to run you quite the premium considering the base model features only a 2.66GHz Core i7-920 processor and a Nvidia GeForce G310 graphics card with 512MB of RAM.

The base model, as described above will retail for $950 while the much beefier configurations will retail for well over $2,000. If you want a computer that will run most of today’s latest video games, this is definitely a great option for you. However, if you’re looking for a computer that will render a 1080p video as fast as possible while rendering some 3D graphics there are probably better options out there for you. Then again, maxing this computer out may do just the trick.
