There are a lot of Blu-ray players out there and it looks like RCA has been silently shipping a new one. This is the RCA BRC3108 which has been spotted on Amazon.com and Target stores.

The RCA BRC3108 portable Blu-ray player comes with a 10″ display and boasts of a rechargeable battery, integrated stereo speakers, a headphone jack and a 1080p HDMI output. It comes bundled with car AC adapters as well as a carrying bag with a headrest attachment for vehicular use.

The mini-player is listed at Amazon.com for $349.99 although you may want to check out the cheaper offer from Target which is set at $299.99.

This new mini player should be a great alternative for the many portable Blu-ray players we have seen in the market. This includes the “world’s first portable Blu-ray player” in the Panasonic DMP-B15 which retailed for a whopping $800.

With practically a 50% savings, the RCA BRC3108 promises to be a better buy, especially for the people who want some media entertainment on the road or when they are riding their cars.
