Motorola Grasp WX404 is Now Official

New Motorola Grasp Unveiled and Headed to the US via MetroPCS

After landing in the FCC last week, the Motorola WX404 is now official. The handset will be known as the Motorola Grasp and was officially unveiled by Moto.

This new Motorola handset is a CDMA/EVDO/AWS and will be released by way of MetroPCS for the U.S. market.

The phone doesn’t run on Android but is BFR and PVC free meaning that its housing is made of recyclable materials.

Among the features of this new eco-friendly Motorola Grasp include a 2.2″ display (220×176 pixels), a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, Stereo Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5 mm jack, a music player, a 1.3MP camera and MicroSD card slot support.

The pricing for the Motorola Grasp WX404 was not announced although it is not expected to be heavy on the pocket.

The Motorola handset will officially come out by the third quarter of 2010.

There is no word either if this phone would also be offered internationally.
