Facebook IPO Probably by 2012

Bloomberg Reports That Facebook IPO May Happen by 2012

Facebook has been one of the popular social networking sites we have seen today so don’t be surprised if CEO Mark Zuckerberg suddenly decides to go public and offer IPOs. Bloomberg reports that Facebook may do this by 2012 although this isn’t the official word.

Just like other successful sites, the main agenda is to beef up its subscriber base and rack in more revenues. And similar to other sites who have considered IPO like LinkedIn, we will believe it when we see it.

There is no telling what the future holds and if the owners like Zuckerberg are that keen on soliciting some public scrutiny and implications.

While IPOs do bring milestones, timing is essential. The decision to IPO is something crucial and may eventually be a bad move if they are not analyzed properly.

So will Facebook go IPO? Well we have a couple of months before 2011 ends. And if Bloomberg says it may happen by 2012, then let us wait and see.

Mind you, it was Bloomberg and not Facebook or anyone from there who speculated it ok?
