Amazon Offers Home Delivery With Reusable Tote Bag In Seattle Markets
Those in Seattle who purchase a lot of things over the internet and are trying to live a greener lifestyle now have a new option for home delivery. Amazon will now hand-deliver your orders to your home, in a reusable tote bag, then pick it up next time they come to deliver something. Right now, it’s restricted to the Seattle area.

The cloth tote bags are pretty awesome, but as you can see by this picture submitted by Gizmodo reader “KevinSeattle”, it looks like a cardboard box. Kind of fun, but it kind of looks like an old, wet, cardboard box.
Delivery by Tote is a free feature for Amazon customers in Seattle. If you are a regular customer, you get one “ToteDay” (delivery day) during the week. Amazon Prime customers will get two “ToteDays”. That being said, they’re saying that you’ll get a delivery once a week, so it sounds like that if you absolutely need something quickly, you may want to stick to regular shipping. Don’t expect them to fit heavy items, like exercise bikes, into this thing, either.
Would you try this if Amazon did it in your area?
