Verizon Sends Awful Blurry Droid X Ads To BlackBerry Customers
Although most who want one can’t find one (protip: Amazon.com has Droid Xs in stock right now), that hasn’t stopped Verizon from still heavily promoting the Droid X. Several BlackBerry (and other phone) users on Verizon reportedly got some video text messages from Verizon that promoted the Droid X.

Below is the video text message that Verizon users received:
I know it’s a video MMS message – not some high resolution 1080p video, but it looks horrible. At any rate, Verizon is really getting behind the Droid X. I reviewed it for our site – and in chatting with the PR people, it seems to me that Verizon is really proud of this phone (and they should be – it’s excellent).
This MMS promoting the Droid X is even being sent to some featurephone owners on the Verizon network – and compared to the average LG VX8360 – the Droid X might as well be from the future.
Does this blurry and low-res video make you want to get a Droid X? Is it weird that Verizon is promoting the Droid X when they’re hard to find in real life and in online outlets?
