Toshiba Unveils Five New 3D LCD TV Sets

Toshiba Rolls Out New REGZA F1 and ZG1 Series 3D LCD TV

Toshiba promised new 3D TV set and here they come. Toshiba unveils 5 new 3D LCDs, a follow up to their earlier release of pricey CELL 3D TV sets. They will come in various screen sizes and will fall under the Toshiba REGZA F1 and ZG1 Series.

The Toshiba REGZA F1 series will have two models measuring 46″ and 55″ while the ZG1 Series will be offering three models in 42″, 47″ and 55″ sizes.

All five models will come with standard features that include a 240Hz full HD 3D panel, LED backlighting, USB HDD connectivity, DLNA support, web connectivity, a 2,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and four HDMI ports.

The main differences between the two series are that the ZG1 TVs also support HDD access over LAN, offer 2D/3D conversion, and come with an IPS panel.

The F1 models will be out by next month with the 46″ model retailing $3,760 and the 55″ priced at $4,900.

As for the ZG1 series, the 42″ will cost $3,200, 47″ at $4,000 and the 55″ retailing for $5,100. The ZG1 Series will be available by October.
