Samsung Announces Pricing for C680 and C490 3D Plasma TVs

Samsung Officially Reveals the Prices for its Samsung C680 and Samsung C490 3DTVs

The two Samsung 3DTV sets, C680 and C490 have now been officially priced. The Samsung C680 3DTV features a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, four HDMI ports, a USB port together with Samsung’s Internet and DLNA Allshare.

The Samsung C680 will come in two models. These are the 50″ PN50C680 which is priced at $1,599 and the 58″ PN58C680 which will retail for $2,299.

As for the Samsung C490, it will come in a 50″ screen that will retail for about $1,099. The Samsung C490 3DTV is made for the budget-conscious consumers, featuring a 720p HD resolution and three HDMI inputs.

Initially announced for South Korea, it looks like these Samsung 3DTV sets are also headed for the U.S. soon. Amazon.com is reportedly taking pre-orders as we speak but there is no official word yet on when they would be actually released.
