Runco Unveils New 3D Cinema Projectors

Runco Announces Its New 3D-Ready Signature Projectors Which Still Require 3D Glasses

Runco unveils a couple of new 3D-ready projectors with the SC-50d and SC-60d. The new projectors provide support for 3D playback and support for Active3D or passive glassed-based solutions.

The new pair of projectors come with a 3-chip system that can render 1080p natively and are the first projectors to come with Runco’s Smart Lens System.

The Smart Lens System offers controllable motorized lens and Iris which can be preset in the memory.

Aside from that, the new Runo projectors will ship with Runco’s Digital High-Definition (DHD) external video processor controller.

Both will also come with the latest ViVix processing for exceptional scaling, analog to digital signal conversion and control via IR or RS-232.

The Runco Signature Cinema SC-50d and SC-60d projectors will be available this coming Fall and will be priced at $88,995 and $98,995, respectively.

Optional lens (CineWide, CineWide with AutoScope) and 3D accessories are likewise available but will be sold separately.
