Nintendo 3DS Release Date of Release Date Announced; Get It? [Nintendo Tells Us When It Will Tell Us the Release Date of the 3DS Gaming Console: September 2010]

Nintendo, is a company you simply have to love for what they meant and still mean to the gaming industry. But in days like this one you can definitely hate them, no questions asked. Why? Well they have just announced the release date of the secret release date for the Nintedo 3DS.

Yeah, you read that right. On September 29, which is basically October 2010 (hate them again,) Nintendo will be so courteous as to finally release a very important information, the release date of the Nintedon 3DS. Did I sound any better this time around?

It’s like telling you guys in March that Nintendo announced the official announcement of the 3DS was scheduled for this year’s E3 event in June. That was pretty clear, wasn’t it?

So, listen, Nintendo guys, I don’t know how you do your business when it comes to media and PR but please, enough with these mind games. Don’t bullshit us with words, and announce the final release date and pricing details for the 3DS already! It’s not like we need to know exactly the date in which you will announce a release date that could be six months away from now, or even more.

And while we’re on that I’ll also have to say that, even if I’m not a real fan of 3D gaming on a portable console, I’d be really disappointed to see a product that was announced in June 2010 available in stores only in March 2011 or later. In those nine months people are going to buy lots of other devices that do mobile gaming very well: iPhones, iPod touches, iPads, Android smartphones, current DS models and PSPs.

We’ll definitely be back with more information on September 29, and by then one can only hope that Nintendo will have chosen an actual release date for a yet-to-be-determined-if-hot gaming device.
