Boost Mobile has announced two new additions to their available device lineup. The phones are the Rambler and Bali, both of which come by way of Motorola. As for pricing and availability, they will both be ready for purchase on August 11th and sell for $99.99 and $149.99 respectively.

Breaking each of these handsets down a little, lets begin with the Motorola Rambler. This handset comes with features to include a full QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth, GPS and speakerphone with voice recognition. Other perks include video recording, wireless web access, email, instant messaging, text and picture messaging and access to downloadable games, wallpapers and ringtones. And lastly in terms of the Rambler, its a clamshell style handset that measures in at 3.70 x 2.24 x 0.71 inches and weighs 3.5 ounces.

Next up is the Motorola Bali, which features goodies such as a 1.3 megapixel camera with video recording, Stereo Bluetooth, GPS, MP3 player and a microSD card slot for media storage. The Bali also has external music controls and similar to the Rambler — it is a clamshell style handset. The Bali measures in at 3.86 x 1.82 x 0.67 inches with a weight of 3.5 ounces. Of course there is also support for other items such as text and multimedia messages, instant messaging and wireless web email.

In the end, two decent looking and relatively low priced phones — one with a full QWERTY and one with a regular keypad. As for plans, this is Boost Mobile which means no contract, which in this case can be the $50 per month Boost Mobile Monthly Unlimited plan which offers nationwide unlimited voice, texts, web, email and instant messages.

All said and done, the Rambler actually looks like a decent phone. Granted it is not a smartphone so you will not have quite as much, but something about a clamshell phone with a full QWERTY just seems like a nice thing to have when it comes to a messaging phone.
