Apple iPhone 4 Launches In Canada Tomorrow, Rogers Offers Some Pre-Launch Details
As many likely remember, the iPhone 4 is going to come available in Canada as of tomorrow, which is July 30th. Of course, in addition to Canada there are also sixteen other countries, but for the sake of this post we are going to focus on Canada. And more specifically, with Rogers.

As far as Rogers is concerned, they seem to be prepared to make sure their customers are in the know. Coming by way of the RedBoard blog, they have offered up a nice (and long) post detailing what iPhone 4 customers can expect. Plus, they have brought back a 6GB data plan and even announced a special option for those looking to tether and share their iPhone 4′s data with an iPad.
First though, lets begin with a potential discount. Any current iPhone customer that activated before December 31, 2008 will be eligible for special pricing. As for those prices, $159 for the 16GB model and $269 for the 32GB model. Not all that shabby considering otherwise they would set you back $399 or $499 for the 16GB and 32GB model respectively. And as you would expect, those prices are tied to a three year agreement. Not to mention, new iPhone 4 customers will also get the $159 and $269 pricing.
Moving onto the topic of data, Rogers has brought back the 6GB monthly allowance plan and kept the previous price, which was $30 per month. This plan will be available as of the launch and remain an option through September 30th.
Finally, data sharing with the iPad. Beginning tomorrow and running though September 30th customers will be able to purchase an iPad data sharing add on. This will cost an extra $20 per month and be available for those on the 6GB $30 per month data plan.
Otherwise, those interested in getting an iPhone 4 with Rogers should hit up the RedBoard and check out the full post.
