White iPhone 4 Light Leakage Issue Revealed; Responsible for the Dealay?
At this point it’s perfectly clear to anyone waiting for a white iPhone 4 that Apple will not launch it by the end of July. It looks like making such a device is really a challenge for Apple’s partners and it will be even more challenging for Apple to figure out a way to keep up with demand.

Today we hear about a new iPhone 4 issue that concerns this white iPhone 4. And although it’s just a rumor for now we wouldn’t be really that surprised to hear it was the real deal. The iPhone 4, like its predecessors, is not perfect (really, no pun intended here, folks) and I have constructively criticized the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G before it. But it looks like the iPhone 4 keeps on returning with more and more issues, far beyond our expectations, and not exactly honoring Apple in the process especially since the iPhone 4 should continue the tradition of being the phone of all phones.
So what’s this new problem you ask? Well it seems that the white iPhone 4 is leaking light through the edges of the phone and through the back of it. That’s certainly one weird issue here and it definitely has something to do with the manufacturing process. That happens since the white on the back of the phone has a lower opacity than the back of the black iPhone, so light will squeeze through it especially since the iPhone has two glass panels, both front and back.
Naturally Apple will not confirm any of these rumors and when the white iPhone 4 will hit the streets it will probably be a perfect white version of the not-so-perfect black iPhone 4.
So let’s hear it from potential white iPhone 4 customers. How does light leaking from your phone sounds like? Kinda’ like a godly aura, don’t you think?
