Video: iPhone 3G Running iOS 4 Flawlessly? Not for Everyone; Apple to Fix It? [Apple Aware of iPhone 3G iOS 4 Problems, Looking for a Fix Already]

The iPhone 3G, once a glorious gadget, it’s now slower and slower when it comes to performing well for the customer. The obvious problem is the new OS versions that require more and more processing power. iOS 4 is making iPhone 3G handsets very slow even if it doesn’t have all the iOS 4 features enabled.

Before we tell you that Apple is aware of the problem and it is looking for a fix, we’ll show you a short video that’s going to reveal how to make the iPhone 3G, or iPod touch for that matter, run a lot faster with iOS 4 on board.

Well that’s not exactly a permanent fix that’s going to make your iPhone 3G running iOS 4 that much faster, is it? But that’s where Apple comes into place. The Wall Street Journal has it that Apple is well aware of these problems and it’s currently investigating them in order to offer iOS 4 iPhone 3G users a much better experience.

Your iPhone 3G with new OS on board might hit you with slow responsiveness, faster battery draining and excessive heat. Have you spotted any of these issues yet? Apparently the problems have been brought to Apple’s attention a few times already and since the Death Grip scandal has held up the front page of the media, the iPhone 3G issues have been disregarded for a while, but not completely forgotten.

This is not the first time iPhone 3G run into OS-related problems. Remember that 3.1.3 upgrade that annoyed so many of you? Well I’ll tell you that I knew better than to go for it, I also happen to have an iPhone 3G, as I was waiting for the iPhone OS 4.0 update. When it finally came that’s when I realized I should better keep my iPhone 3G running 3.1.2 than to have one more reason to be annoyed at Apple for iPhone-related matters.

So let’s hear it from Apple, folks, when is an iOS 4 fix for iPhone 3G users going to arrive?

Both mine and my boss’ iPhone 3g’s wifi completely stopped working after the OS 4.0 update and still didn’t work after the 4.0.1 update. I tried reseting Network settings and all settings and still no luck. I tried restoring both the phones from a different OS 4.0.1 download just in case the download was corrupted and wifi STILL didn’t work. I tried connecting to wifi without restoring from backup just in case the backup was corrupted and it STILL didn’t work!! There is nothing more I can do on my own and I want answers and a fix from Apple!
