T-Mobile's Mysterious HSPA+ Phone Tipped As The HTC Vision/Vanguard
As of yesterday, T-Mobile launched a new teaser page for an upcoming phone. And more importantly, that phone will be the first HSPA+ capable smartphone to come available with T-Mobile.

But as far as teaser pages go, this was status quo. Basically, it gave a blank looking image of a phone along with a place to give up some personal information for the privilege of future notification and text that read as follows;
“Later this year, the first HSPA+ smartphone fromT-Mobile® will shape the next generation. Yours.”
Well, leave it to the internet and curious minds to dig and uncover some dirt. As of now, it looks like that mystery phone has been revealed as the HTC Vision/Vanguard. Of course, another name for that phone is the G1 Blaze, which we saw pictured just a few days back. Unfortunately the details on the G1 Blaze are still mostly speculation. That said, they include a 3.7 inch display, slide out QWERTY keyboard and 1GHz processor. And maybe, assuming this reveal is accurate — support for the T-Mobile HSPA+ network.
And as you may have guessed, this revelation of the mystery phone being the G1 Blaze did not come from looking at the image. But at the same time, it was almost as simple — it came from the source code of the website itself which made numerous mentions to the “vanguard.”
With that, it looks like T-Mobile will not only have a nice successor to the now EOL’d G1, but also a competitor to some of the other big players in Android such as the EVO 4G and Epic 4G with Sprint as well as the Droid X and Droid 2 with Verizon.
Now that the name seems to be out of the way, lets hope we can get some more in terms of specs revealed.
