T-Mobile Teases First HSPA+ Phone
So, the Sprint fanboys didn’t like my article on why T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network was better than Sprint’s WiMax network, despite T-Mobile’s being ‘just’ 3.5G. At any rate – T-Mobile has recently unveiled a new teaser site that teases their first HSPA+ smartphone that’ll offer full connectivity for the 3.5G network, with impressive 4G-like speeds.

The page, as shown above, is just a teaser page regarding the “Revolution”. The white faint outline of the phone could be a real HSPA+ phone that T-Mobile has coming, or it could just be the artwork that the graphic artist whipped up. The guys at TmoNews seem to think it’ll be a larger phone judging by that mysterious white outline. They write:
I suppose we can read into this a little and say that it looks as though the phone will be something large, without keyboard, possibly an EVO or Droid X competitor judging by the fake image.
Wishful thinking, guys. At any rate, T-Mobile is hedging their bets on the HSPA+ network while everybody else is worrying about 4G.
The page lets you add your name and e-mail address and they’ll e-mail you once more information about the phone comes out. Not hint about when that could be, but T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network is spreading faster than wildfire.
