Interpad Announce 10 Inch Android Tablet, Expected To Arrive In December

10" Android Tablet From German Company Interpad, Should Feature 1GHz Tegra 2 CPU, 16GB Internal Storage & Android 2.1

While many are still waiting on a decent Android tablet offering, we are left hoping to see something actually come to market. Just yesterday we mentioned that Motorola was expected to release a 10 inch tablet with Android 3.0 later this year. And while there is no telling whether that will happen — we can still hope. But in the meantime there is also another company that has announced plans for what sounds like a decent tablet. Of course, like many other stories, there is some good and some bad with the news.

First and foremost, the tablet is coming by way of a German company called e-Noa. This is where the bad (for some) news comes into play because its expected that the tablet will only be available in the German market. That aside though, it does have a decent spec list.

As for features, the e-Noa Interpad will have a 10 inch capacitive touchscreen display and come sporting Android 2.1. Other features include a dual-core 1GHz Tegra 2 T20 processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0, HDMI out and a 3900 mAh battery that is said to be able to offer anywhere from 8 to 12 hours of run time. Not all that bad sounding. As for the price, €399 or roughly $520 in terms of US dollars.

Otherwise, for those willing to part with a little extra cash, there is said to be a premium version that will add in a 3G module, GPS, camera and Android 2.2. This model is expected to be priced at €500, which is roughly $650 US.

But we caution you not to get super excited just yet because while this does look nice on paper, that is exactly what it is — on paper, complete with renderings. Of course, IFA is happening in Berlin this September and we may see something more official by then.
