Fujifilm Announces Its Newest Point and Shoot Camera with the Fujifilm Finepix JX280

Fujifilm announces its latest point-and-shoot camera with the Fujifilm Finepix JX280. This new pocket-friendly camera will join Fujifilm’s ultra-compact J-series, offering consumers a new digital camera packed with features at a reasonable price.

Among the features of the Fujifil Finepix JX280 include a 14MP CCD, a 2.7″ high resolution LCD and Fujinon 5X wide angle optical zoom lens. The JX280 is also capable of capturing 720p HD video and comes encased in a high-grade metal body.

Supporting features for the Fujifilm Finepix JX280 include tracking auto focus, smile/blink protection, scene recognition (SR Auto), digital image stabilization and face detection.

The new ultra-compact camera comes in a black and measures a slim 18.5mm which should fit in handily in anyone’s pocket or bag. A great new camera made for any occasion and for people who don’t want to miss a single shot of rare and treasured moments.

The Fujifilm Finepix JX280 will be available by August, 2010 and will carry a MSRP of $149.95.
