AT&T Palm Pre Plus Pricing Lowered To $99 On Contract [AT&T's Online Store Now Offering Palm Pre Plus For $99.99, Still Comes With Two-Year Agreement]
Those following along with Palm will find little surprise in this. And honestly I am not sure if it should be considered good news for potential Palm owners or bad news for Palm. Either way though, the Pre Plus has been dropped to $99.99 with AT&T.

And as much as that is a nice price drop. After all, AT&T had been selling the Pre Plus for $149.99, which means a $50 price cut. That should be nice to hear, but I would be faulted if I did not mention that despite a new lower price with AT&T — you can still get this phone much cheaper with other online retailers.
For example, with Amazon its $0.01 and with Wirefly its selling for $49.99. Bottom line here, AT&T has a fair price, but you should be shopping with Amazon if you were interested in the Pre Plus because in the end you are getting the same exact thing. A Palm phone with webOS and a two year agreement with AT&T.
But regardless of the price cut — the phone is currently listed as out of stock with AT&T. Which seems to bring up an interesting question as to why. Is the Pre Plus actually selling well with AT&T, or had they simply had a very low inventory to begin with? Personally, and speaking as a Pre Plus user, I would hope it the first option — selling well.
As for the Pre Plus itself, throwing in my two cents, its a great phone. Not perfect, but still more than capable. And yes, that includes having available apps. Granted the App Catalog is not nearly as stacked as the App Store or Android Market, but the big ones seem to be around.
Finally, the Pixi Plus is still sitting at $29.99 with AT&T. But just like the Pre Plus, it can also be found cheaper with other retailers. The Pixi Plus is currently available with Amazon for $0.01 and its free with Wirefly.
