New Mac Pros, Cinema Displays And More Coming Tomorrow? [Rumors Suggest Apple Will Announce New Mac Pros, Cinema Displays, iMacs And Infamous Magic Trackpad Tomorrow]
Apple has been known to release a new version of a product about once a year. This has been made very apparent with the iPhone as they have released a new version every year ever since its original 2007 launch. Additionally, the same release window generally applies to their other popular lineups such as the iMacs and MacBooks, among other things. However, one thing we have not seen updated in quite some time is their Mac Pro.

If you’re not familiar with the Mac Pro, it is the only traditional tower computer that Apple makes and features highly sought after features that have professionally content creators drooling. These features include up to 32GB of RAM, up to 8 terabytes of hard drive space and 4 PCI Express slots. Unfortunately, like I mentioned above, the hardware has not seen a substantial update for some time. Although, rumors of an updated version have emerged at various times including right around this year’s WWDC 10 where Apple came forth to announce the new iPhone 4.
Today, however, some new rumors have emerged that say Apple is ready to launch their brand new Mac Pros along with several other products. These products include a new 27-inch Cinema Display with a display ratio of 16:9, beefed up iMacs and that infamous Magic Trackpad we’ve been hearing about. These rumors have come to the surface thanks to the fact that the Mac Pro has recently been made unavailable for purchase on Apple’s online store. This is usually the standard protocol for when Apple is gearing up to launch a new product.
However, with the Trackpad, iMac and Cinema Display all we have to go by is John Gruber’s suggestions over at Daring Fireball.
The Mac Pro, iMac and Cinema Displays all sound good but I’m still undecided about the Trackpad. Would consumers really take to controlling their desktop computers the same way they do their laptops or should the pointing device be solely used for portable applications?
