Motorola Android Tablet Rumored For November Release
It would appear as if Motorola is ready to compete with the iPad. Well, that is assuming we can believe the latest information coming by way of The Street and analyst Roger Crenshaw. Bottom line here, it looks like Motorola is planning to release and Android tablet in a few months.

And while I hope these reports are accurate, plenty of questions remain unanswered at this point in time. First, is this going to be like the iPad, in that those interested would be able to choose between a Wi-Fi and/or a 3G equipped model? And if so, which carrier is going to be the lucky winner. My guess would be on Verizon, but that only seems likely because Motorola is already in pretty deep with Verizon and the current Droid smartphone lineup.
As for what is know, or more specifically what is being speculated about this tablet. Unfortunately not much — its said to be running Android 3.0 Gingerbread and have a 10 inch display.
To add some further evidence of accuracy here, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha did make statements earlier in the year commenting how they were considering other devices such as tablet. Otherwise its all a guess at this point. But it does make you wonder what other hardware would be included and given how smoothly phones such as the Droid X run, its likely to believe that a tablet would be similar in terms of processor and memory.
And just like that we are waiting for more information. Personally, I am hoping to see this one come true. I have and love my iPad, but would be more than interested in picking up an Android tablet given the option. That is, assuming its like Android on a phone, but bigger. And by that I mean having the full Google experience including the Market.
