Colorware Now Painting Mac Minis, For A Fee

Give Your Brand New Mac Mini A Personalized Touch With Colorware

When it comes to modern day hardware, some consumers have begun viewing their favorite gadgets as fashion accessories. Luckily, with most available devices, there are various color schemes to choose from so you’re able to somewhat differentiate yourself from the crowd. However, when it comes to Apple, we are not given that luxury. Sure, there are a whole range of colors available for the various iPods and there are both black and white iPhone models (or so we think) we are given no such options with their computer line up.

However, while we cannot get a MacBook Pro in pink or an iMac in red, Apple’s products have been applauded for being extremely fashionable with some Apple fanboys buying their products solely for their looks. However, what happens when you’re sick of everyone having the normal aluminum look and want to stand out a bit? Well then you can turn to a company like Colorware.

For quite some time now Colorware has been taking out favorite gadgets and putting a whole new spin on them painting them what ever color (or colors) the user wants. Today, the company has announced that they will be taking their doings to one of Apple’s latest products – the Mac Mini.

Previously, the Mac Mini featured a white top and aluminum shell however with the most recent release we have seen an aluminum unibody design much like tApple’s every popular MacBook line up. While it looks nice, it could get a bit boring so Colorware’s services are sure to come in hand for creating a personalized piece of hardware that any self respecting technology enthusiast is sure to appreciate.

Something to note is the fact that Colorware’s services aren’t exactly cheap. If you want to purchase a brand new Mac Mini yourself and send it in, Colorware will be charging you $250 dollars for a new paint job. Alternatively, you can opt to purchase a new Mac Mini straight from the company already painted and they will charge you a one time fee of $1,000.
