Apple iPhone 4 Availability Extends to 17 More Countries July 30th [Apple's iPhone 4 International Roll Out Continues, 17 Additional Countries Including Australia, Canada, Spain & Sweden Will Be Available This Friday July 30th]
Apple has officially announced the next availability date for the iPhone 4 — this coming Friday, which is July 30th. And this rollout means availability for 17 additional countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Of course, we have seen some of this information before, when Apple did their Antennagate press conference a few weeks back. But this time the word comes by way of official press release and as expected it fails to include the white iPhone 4. Granted, we have already learned that the white iPhone was further delayed last week.
Bottom line, those in the 17 above listed countries will be able to grab an iPhone 4 in black and either 16 or 32GB storage options as of Friday. And with some large countries included in that group, the overall sales numbers should see a rather nice jump after the weekend is over. Maybe we can look forward to another press release next Monday morning touting some new sales figures.
As for other areas, the iPhone 4 has already been released in France, Germany, Japan, the UK and the US. Which ultimately means the iPhone 4 will be available in 22 countries as of this Friday.
Finally, those in one of those 17 countries will be able to make the purchase online via the Apple Store or at an Apple retail store or Apple authorized reseller store. As on now there has not been any mention of the stores planning for an early opening, though with a few days left before launch that could still change. In the meantime, mark your calendars because this Friday is the date.
And in the end, we cannot help but wonder whether Apple has taken any special measures for the iPhone 4′s going out in these areas or if they will eventually be included in the free bumper offering that is now underway here in the US market.
