5 Apple / iPhone 4 Videos or How the Media Is Blowing Everything Out of Proportion, Darth Vader Included [5 Mostly Funny Videos Show How People React to the iPhone 4 Death Grip Solution from Apple & a Jailbreak]
The weekend is here, folks, which means we have to step away of the serious stuff for a second and appreciate the good things in life and have some well deserved fun while we’re at it. And what better way of having some extra fun than to watch some funny videos made at Apple’s expense. And we have a top five for you with funny Apple-related videos (okay, I’ll admit that at least four of them are really funny.

5) iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3G
The iPhone 3G was never meant to run iOS 4.0, was it Apple? And this video tries to replicate the original iPhone commercial, which lasted 28 seconds.
4) The Banned iPhone 4 Commercial
There’s nothing better than seeing manufacturers admit they were wrong with some products. In this case Apple! Too bad it is just a spoof, but a brilliant one nonetheless.
3) The Condescending Apple Press Conference
I actually showed you this one yesterday, so you already know what’s going on here. It’s still hilarious, and worthy of your attention once again.
2) Darth Vader Calls About His iPhone 4
Even Darth Vader, when trying to reason with AppleCare, doesn’t succeed to find an appropriate solution to his iPhone 4-related problems. I’m surprised to see him not use the Force, which must still be strong with him, although in this scenario the Force might not work either.
1) Jailbroken iPhone 4 on Video with Cydia Store creator
I told you that at least four of them are funny. This one is just a little more serious, but it’s worth including in this set of videos. Why? Well the fact is that the iPhone 4 jailbreak and unlock is coming soon, and, while it won’t solve the Death Grip problem, it will free the device from Apple’s and the carrier’s shackles (not that we’re advising you to do that.)
Why did I get those videos together? Well I realized today is the one-week anniversary of Apple’s now famous 15-minute press event (that lasted well over 30 minutes without the Q&A session) as Apple walked us slowly through the official bullshit that should act as an excuse/apology/solution for the even-more-famous Death Grip problem.
Steve Jobs himself blamed the media for blowing everything out of proportion, although I never heard Apple asking the media to stop building the good kind of buzz about upcoming Apple products. And in just seven days (all right, not all the videos here have been released this week) the media managed to blow it out of proportions again. Poor Apple, how is it going to deal with all this?
