$399.99 Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Bundle Coming Soon; Kinect Not Included [Microsoft Now Rumored to Launch Special Halo: Reach Xbox 360 Package: Game, Controllers & Xbox 360]
Halo: Reach, the last episode of the Halo franchise is one of the most expected games of this year. We have talked about it just recently and it looks like Microsoft is also very interested in this game’s future popularity.

Just earlier this week we’ve shown you the first Xbox 360 and Kinect bundles coming from Microsoft and while those were confirmed offers, the special bundle we have for you today is only a hot rumor for now. Microsoft is supposed to sell you a $399.99 package containing the Halo: Reach game, two special Halo: Reach wireless controllers and the Xbox 360 itself. And yes, Redmond will include the brand new Xbox 360 version in the offer, one more reason to take it into consideration.
The official announcement is expected to arrive later on today according to some Microsoft insiders and the screenshot below seems to serve as confirmation, although we definitely need the officially official press release before we pop open the champagne.

If you’re not a hardcore gamer chances are you won’t appreciate this special bundle. The Xbox 360 and the controllers come in grey and the console is supposed to come with a 250GB hard drive, which is definitely a great offer and will fit perfectly with Halo fans. While $399.99 is not exactly the most affordable price, purchasing separately the items it includes will cost you more money.
Unfortunately if you were looking forward to also get the Kinect motion controller included in that price you’ll have to think again. Microsoft has different bundles for the Kinect, so, you’ll have to choose to either get the Halo: Reach or the Kinect with Xbox 360 bundle. And if you happen to already own an Xbox 360 console you could always sell it and use that money for a Kinect purchase in the future, although Kinect is not a must have gaming peripheral for the avid Halo gamer right now.
Are you going to pre-order this Halo: Reach Xbox 360 bundle once it becomes official?
