Panasonic Unveils a New Rugged Camera in the Market with the Panasonic Lumix TS10

Panasonic has announced another camera in the market with the release of the rugged Panasonic LUMIX TS10 digital camera. This rugged camera is waterproof, freeze-proof, shock-proof and dust-proof which makes it ideal for most outdoor and rugged intent.

The Panasonic LUMIX TS10 is a flat but versatile 14.1 MP camera that comes with a 4X optical zoom lens and is waterproof of up to 10 feet. The TS10 can also shoot HD videos in 720p motion JPG while also providing advanced signal processing technology thanks to the image-processing Venus Engine IV.

Highlights of the Panasonic LUMIX TS10 camera include a 2.7″ intelligent LCD screen which can detect lighting conditions and automatically boost LCD backlighting by 40% when shooting outdoors. With the High-Angle mode, the LCD screen is extremely easy to view even when the camera is used to shoot over crowds.

The Panasonic LUMIX TS10 will retail for a reasonable price of $249.95 and will be available in blue, red, black and silver. It is slated to debut in mid-September.
