Microsoft Kinect & Xbox 360 4GB Pre-Order Details & Release Dates Now Official
We have covered Microsoft’s generally boring keynote at E3 2010 extensively here at TFTS, but Redmond didn’t reveal any pricing details at the end of that day. And we’ve had to wait a while until the company was ready to offer us pricing details and release dates for the Microsoft Kinect or the new Xbox 360 4GB console and it looks like today is the day when we finally get that info.

Without further ado, I’ll cut to the chase, as gamers deserve these details. The Microsoft Kinect will cost $149.99; so much for the sub-$100 pricing rumored before launch. In case you want to bundle it with the new Xbox 360 4GB console and the Kinect Adventures game then the price goes up to $299 while the new Xbox 360 4GB console will cost you just $199.99. So better bundle these two products than purchase them separately.
The Xbox 360 4GB console, which will be shipping on August 3 in the USA, comes with built-in Wi-Fi N support, 4GB of internal flash memory, touch-sensitive buttons and a black matte finish (not that this feature will matter much to gamers).
Dennis Durkin, Xbox 360 chief operating officer comments on the Kinect and Xbox 360:
“Kinect for Xbox 360 offers tremendous entertainment value for the whole family. With full body, voice and the ability to play games with your friends right out of the box, Kinect is the most unique, complete and affordable way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment.”
Microsoft will let you pre-order these hot gaming products today so grab them while they’re hot. The Xbox 360 Kinect Console Bundle will cost you $299.99, just like I said before while the Kinect for Xbox 360 will cost you $149.99. Once you do pre-order any of these two packages you will receive a token to download three exclusive game levels for Kinect Adventures, which isn’t too bad an incentive. What do you say? What are you pre-ordering?
