Zune Pass Coming To England?
British MP3 lovers, pay attention–the word is that you too may be able to get your hands on the all-you-can-download special that is the Zune Pass.
The word comes on the heels of a tipster who managed to successfully sign up for a 14 day free trial of Zune Pass, but there’s a downside here–apparently, said tipster is unable to actually use the service, even though he has access to it.
This in turn has led some to question if the Zune Pass system will be made available to British listeners. There’s evidence on that side, sure enough–one, recent announcements have made clear that Zune services would be “made available at launch” for Windows Phone 7 users, and two, an entire pounds sterling-specific pricing structure, charging 8.99 for a month and 26.97 for three month blocks. Admittedly, that’s hardly as credible as, say, a press release from Microsoft, but it definitely makes the suggestion clear enough.
So will British listeners be able to lay hands on Zune Passes? The earliest word certainly suggests so.
