Praktica DCZ 14.1 Camera Debuts

A New 14MP Camera Has Been Released by Praktica in the DCZ 14.1

Praktica of Germany has debuted a new 14MP camera in the market with the Praktica DCZ 14.1. This will be the first 14.1 megapixel camera model for their digital camera product line.

The Praktica DCZ 14.1 camera comes with impressive features that include a 3X optical lens, a 1/2.3 CCD, 2.7″ TFT color display (960×240), a 32 MB of built-in memory, smile detection, PASM mode, face tracking, digital anti-shake, blink detection and intelligent scene mode.

The camera weighs only 120g and makes use of 2 AA batteries or Ni-Mh batteries. One thing going against this camera is the fact that the brand is not really known internationally and official pricing has not been bared at this point.

With each purchase of the Praktica DCZ 14.1 camera includes a USB cable, a CD driver, a camera pouch, a camera strap and a couple of AA batteries.

No word if it is available internationally since chances are it will only be offered in Germany for the time being.
