Apple iPhone 4 Launching In 17 Additional Countries On July 30th & White iPhone To Arrive By The End Of The Month

When the iPhone 4 was originally announced we learned that it would see an international rollout “by the end of July” and keeping true to that word — its coming at the end of July. Well, technically with one day to spare. That said, the previous rumors of July 28th were pretty close, but in reality the day will be July 30th.

As for where, the countries include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. In all the list is almost complete with 17 countries being included. There was one however that was removed — South Korea. And as of now no word on why they have been pushed back, but it seems as if those in South Korea will have to sit tight for a while longer.

And with that, lets hope those outside of the US are not experiencing any of the antenna issues because as we have already learned, the free case offer is currently only going to be available for those in the US.

Otherwise, the fabled white iPhone 4 will also be arriving sooner than later. According to the word of Steve Jobs, it will begin shipping before the end of July. Basically, I am thinking the end of the month is most likely. And while that sounds like good news for anyone that had been holding out — except. Yes there is a catch — it will be available in “limited quantities.” That would lead me to believe that its likely to get snatched up by those fast enough to make some rapid fire purchases and will then quickly be posted on eBay in hopes of a profitable turn around.

With that, here is one question that I have yet to figure out. Are they just going to ship free bumpers with the white iPhone 4, or has that model already been ‘fixed’?
