Massive UK Handset Roadmap Leak Shows Windows Phone 7 Powered HTC Gold In November And More
If it weren’t for leaks we would be stuck waiting until handset manufacturers actually came forth to announce their handsets, and what fun is that? Lucky for us leak loving folks, a massive UK handset road map has been acquired by Omio and gives us some juicy information about a whole slew of handsets set to hit the UK later this year. Don’t be shy as the leak shows off everything from BlackBerry OS powered devices to Windows Phone 7 and Symbian^3 powered devices.

When I say massive leak, I mean trulely massive as there are an astonishing number of handsets detailed on it, all of which I shall break down for you below. First up in July are teh Nokia E5-00, Sony Ericsson W20 and Samsung i5500, three handsets that we have virtually no information on but that you probably don’t care about anyways.
Next, in August, we will see the release of the BlackBerry Curve 9300 and the Nokia X6 8GB both devices we’ve heard of before in previous months that are sure to please BlackBerry and Nokia fanboys/girls, respectively. September we’ll see the Sony Ericsson Hazel and Nokia X2, again two devices you probably don’t care about unless you’re looking for a feature phone. October, will see the release of the HTC Vision, HTC Ace, Nokia NC8, Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 and the Sony Ericsson Yendo.
And finally, along comes November, arguably the most interesting of them all. First and foremost is the HTC Gold with Windows Phone 7 in tow. Unfortunately we don’t have much information regarding the Gold but considering it’s a Windows Phone 7 launch device, you can expect it to be huge. Additionally, in November, we will see the Samsung i870o which is rumored to be running Samsung’s Bada operating system and the Nokia E7 which is rumored to be a Symbian^3 powered device complete with slide-out QWERTY keyboard and AMOLED display.
However, before you go and get too excited make note that this is all just rumors and until the respective companies come forth and officially announce all of these devices. It’s nice to dream though, ain’t it?
