Acer Aspire D255 Netbook Launched
A new netbook is in town and it goes by the model Acer Aspire D255. This is the latest offering from Acer which comes with some familiar features you would find from the Acer Aspire One D260. It will come with a 10.1″ backlit-LED display boasting of a 1024×699 resolution that will be backed by Intel GMA 31509 integrated graphics.
Further specs of the Acer Aspire D255 netbook include a dual Core Intel Atom N550 processor which comes with dual 1.5 GHz cores with 512KB of L2 cache, 1GB of DDR2 RAM and an option of up to 250GB capacity on what hard disk to have installed.
The Acer D255 will come with the usual other features like an integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and Bluetooth.
It will also come with a six cell battery with no mention on standby or useful life for now. The same goes for pricing and date of availability, both of which have yet to be announced.
