iPhone 4 (iOS 4) Jailbreak & Unlock Available Already?

iPhone 4 owners are probably waiting for the iPhone Dev Team to free their brand new smartphones from the shackles of Apple and its carrier partners and it looks like a very easy to perform, jailbreak and unlock package is heading your way in the near future.

If you operate an iOS 4 device you probably know that there are ways of jailbreaking and/or unlocking it but the options available so far, which we have already shown you here and here, are not available to iPhone 4 owners.

The new jailbreak coming from the iPhone Dev Team will be very similar to Spirit and it will unlock all your iOS 4 devices in a very easy painless install. Following the jailbreak the next logical step is to get an unlock solution and it looks like the Dev Team wants to offer you a bundle that will let you put your iPhone 4 through the (easy) pains of jailbreaking and unlocking in one single sweep.

We have no time frames available for you just yet but it’s estimated that the iPhone Dev Team wants to release these two tools as fast as possible but not before Apple releases the imminent iOS update which is said to fix the antenna reception issue. In the mean time you’ll have to just sit an wait for an iPhone 4 jailbreak and unlock to arrive. And if you have any iOS 4 devices which you think you can jailbreak and unlock for yourself then make sure you backup your current software and personal data and only then proceed to such endeavors. As always, better handle this stuff with care and not render your device useless at least until the all-device iPhone 4 jailbreak and unlock tools hit the web.
