Video: Hitler on Google Chrome vs Opera Browser Wars

Opera 10.60 Said to be Faster Than the Competition, but Is It Really So?

I’ll admit that I still love these Hitler videos which seem to hit YouTube more and more often as they are a great way to address certain problems, especially tech-related ones.

I’ll also admit that this joke it’s growing old and we might not be able to withstand that many new versions of it. Last week we looked at Hitler talking about the new iPhone 4 problems and this week it looks like the Fuehrer is taking some special interested in the Internet browsers’ war.

Taking the center stage are Opera and Google’s Chrome, two very interesting browsers worth installing on any machine. But who is better? You can expect Opera to say that their solution is the fastest browsing choice while Google will insist that Chrome is the fastest surfing method known to mankind, maybe not using the exact same words though.

Hitler is on the Chrome’s side in this one as it looks like the viral video attempt below has been created by an Opera employee. Opera 10.60 was made official recently and, like previous versions, the new browser is touted to be the fastest available version.

The video takes some serious hits at Google, making fun of the giant conglomerate that hasn’t been able to come up with a better browser version than the little Norwegian company called Opera Software.

But no matter how funny the video and some of Hitler quotes really are, it looks like Opera 10.60 is not actually the hottest thing in Internet browsing town. According to various tests, Chrome and Safari beat Opera’s latest version on Mac OS X while Chrome also surpasses it on Windows Machines.

So “what’s faster than fast?” Opera asked a short while ago, and I tend not to care about the answer to that question. I tend to use multiple browsers at the same time and they’re all pretty reliable, and a lot better than Internet Explorer. Which is what’s important in my book!

I use to love IE, in 1999, i was studying computer, then i was getting more information and change it to Firefox, but then i was getting smarter and I found about Opera in 2002, and I thought this Browser it’s the best. I still don’t know why it’s not so popular, but better for me. in that way my computer is more protected and i can do more stuff.

Opera 10.60 is significantly faster than both the stable Chrome5 and the dev Chrome6 on both Windows and Linux here.

Opera is also more fully featured, more compliant, passes more of Google’s sputnik tests.

As for looks, they both pretty much look the same, lean nice OS integration.

      My Rating:

      Chrome 6
      Opera 9
