HTC Vision Specs & Features Leaked Already

We’re still unable to confirm whether the HTC Vision is the Project Emerald handset expected to hit T-Mobile in the following months but it looks like this new HTC Android device has been leaked to the public and we already have the first specs, features and images of the phone for you.

Before we move to actual specification we will remind you that Project Emerald is supposed to be a Sidekick-like device coming to T-Mobile to replace the discontinued Sidekick models. And from what we can see so far the Vision comes with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, although it’s not exactly similar to previous Sidekicks as it rather looks more like the previous Touch Pro2 smartphone, also conceived by HTC.

The HTC Vision is said to come with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, Android 2.1 with Sense UI on top, full slide-out QWERTY keyboard and, if everything goes according to plan, support for T-Mobile’s 3G bands.

The phone hasn’t been officially mentioned by either HTC or T-Mobile just yet so we’re left to speculate on everything related to it. The Vision in the picture doesn’t bear any branding marking just yet and we definitely expect it to hit other markets at some point in the future especially as the unit in the image above has been unveiled to the public by a Croatian site.

The HTC Vision doesn’t seem to be killer Android device we expected. Features like a 4.3-inch display or a dual-core processor, which were rumored a few weeks ago, are missing in action and we can say we’re a little disappointed not to see the Vision powered by a dual-core processor.

While the image above is not as blurry as we have expected, we’ll be waiting for some better shots of the device that could reveal more details about this upcoming Android smartphone. We have no pricing details and arrival dates at this point but we’re definitely deliver these details to you once we have them. Does the HTC Vision sound interesting to you so far?
